Las Cruces Veterans Day Parade Line up
(NMVI Tractors are #82 in Line Up)
Judicial Complex Parking lot

Please remember that this order of march will more than likely change before the parade, so be flexible when you arrive if we have changed your number.

We will begin staging at 8:00 am on Saturday, November 10. However, in order to alleviate traffic congestion entering the parking lot, we want to stagger the arrival of vehicles as follows (if your entry does not have any vehicles, we would like to have at least one member of your organization arrive as follows so that we can show them your place in line, then when your additional people show up they will simply go to the person from your organization who will already be in place):

8:00 am:  Order of march numbers 1 - 15
8:10 am:  Order of march numbers 16 - 29
8:20 am:  Order of march numbers 30 - 45
8:30 am:  Order of march numbers  46 - 57
8:40 am:  Order of march numbers 58 -  64
8:50 am:  Order of march numbers 65 - 86
9:00 am:  All individuals should begin arriving at this time.  Please remind your people that there will be no parking in the staging area: If they need to park their vehicles and walk to the staging area, they can park at the site where Solo was formerly located (future site of city hall, located south of Branigan Library).  We want to limit the staging area to only those vehicles that will be in the parade, so let your people know that we will not allow entry into the staging area to drop off participants.  Parents may park across the street and drop their children off, but please remind them to use the crosswalks. The staging area will be very congested, and we are limiting access in the interest of safety for our participants.

If you need to have your people arrive early (such as band members),  let me know so that we can anticipate their arrival.

Inform the members of your group that at approximately 9:45 am, the NMSU band will play the National Anthem in anticipation of the start of the parade.

After the parade gets underway, the parade will stop once, when the parade marshals arrive at city hall for a short presentation, after which the parade will immediately resume.

Finally, please keep in mind that the dismount area for the parade will be Loretto Towne Centre—the parade will enter the parking lot at the south end, wind its way around the parking lot and stop at the north end.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you on November 10.
When you arrive at the staging area, we will be there to guide you to your place in
